SDMT Throw Back Thursday, “Singin’ In The Rain” with Brandon Davidson!

Happy #TBT from SDMT! This week we are taking a trip down memory lane to our 2015 production of SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN, starring BRANDON DAVIDSON as Don Lockwood! ☔️❤️✨

Creating rain on stage was one of the biggest technical challenges SDMT has faced — and treacherous! Brandon’s most memorable moment from the show happened opening night when he was happily dancing across the stage in the rainy title number, when he suddenly slipped and landed flat on his bottom in a huge puddle! Brandon recalls hearing a dramatic gasp from the audience and time stopping around him as he sat in the water onstage. Being the pro that he is, Brandon stayed in character and started making “snow angels” in the puddles, saving the moment with Don Lockwood charm. It was such a hit with the audience, we almost wished he could fall every night!
