#BehindtheCurtain: Get to Know Soroush Mahdavi
Coming to one of our productions at SDMT wouldn’t be nearly the same experience if the audience couldn’t hear the amazing actors and actresses on stage! For all the work that goes into putting on one of our shows, it wouldn’t matter if we didn’t have the incredible team of audio engineers and designers to support us. The audio element is a crucial part of our productions; mixing the sounds, balancing everything, making sure actors and actresses have all their correct equipment. It truly is a team effort, and one member of that team we’re highlighting in this Behind the Curtain Blog is our sound engineer for “Anything Goes”, Soroush Mahdavi! Soroush has worked with us at SDMT as the A1 on several shows and we’re so happy to have him back for this current production and hopefully many more in the future. Soroush brings so much knowledge and passion for his work to the table, and we’re so grateful he’s part of the SDMT family. Make sure you don’t miss the chance to hear his hard work in action with our current production of “Anything Goes”! Keep reading below to get to know Soroush, and enjoy some behind the scenes photos of our amazing sound team!
