Larry Raben is an actor and director. For SDMT he has directed Sister Act, Young Frankenstein and La Cage Aux Folles. As an actor, he played Leo Bloom in The Producers on Broadway and in Las Vegas. At the Old Globe he played Grandpa Who in How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Ensign Pulver in Mr. Roberts and Sparky in Forever Plaid (which he was in the original NY company and originated Sparky on the West End in London). At Moonlight he played Dr. Frankenstein in Young Frankenstein and directed Titanic, Sunset. Blvd. and Newsies among others. At the Welk he played Patrick in The Andrews Brothers. He acts and directs all over the planet and is the proud Artistic Director of the Welk Resort Theatre. Go SDMT!!!
