John is thrilled and grateful to be making his SDMT debut. He is 12 years old and attends St. Gregory the Great Catholic School. His love of theater began through Christian Youth Theater where he played Jetsam in The Little Mermaid. This role earned him the citywide CYT Director’s Choice Award for Best Actor 12 and under. He has appeared in the last three productions of How the Grinch Stole Christmas! at the Old Globe. John Perry would like to thank his vocal coach, Karyn Overstreet, his acting coach, Shauna Markey, and his family, especially his older sister Ella for inspiration.
