Ron has been a professional equity actor for over 25 years. With SDMT he played Horse in 2018 Production of The Full Monty. Elsewhere, he performed 4 years in How the Grinch Stole Christmas at the Old Globe, Play On! at the Pasadena Playhouse and most recently in 33 1/3 House of Dreams at the San Diego Rep, to name a few. Ron grew up in the era of learning all aspects of theatre, which has helped him to be a wellrounded asset as production manager. In 2018 Ron “swung a hammer” and helped with set building of Hairspray and Young Frankenstein, and also stepped in as interim director of Miracle on 34th Street. As production manager Ron oversees all creative aspects of SDMT shows, a position he is proud to fulfill. Ron is married to soon to be acupuncturist Marylynn Jones, and they have an inspiring daughter Maisie.
