Ken Karlan –
Chairman of the Board

Graduated University of Pennsylvania, Wharton class of ‘75. From 1975 to 1979 worked for K&B a jewelry manufacturing company which I sold. From 1979 to 2006 I was President of Star Struck, Inc. The businesses included a distribution division selling silver oxide and lithium button cell batteries to major retailers and independent stores. Also sports catalog and internet site selling team licensed apparel and merchandise of all major and minor league teams. Both divisions were sold in 2006. Currently I’m a partner in a chain of 11 pet product stores and 2 vet clinics, a 4 screen movie theater and doing early stage investing in startups. I have 2 sons and 1 granddaughter.
