About
Current Partner
For our current production of Legally Blonde, SDMT is proud to partner with Girls Rising Women Emerging! Girls Rising aims to build strong, empowering relationships through one-on-one female-focused mentorship for girls aged 8-17 from historically underserved communities in San Diego County. Their program helps girls and young women develop supportive, key relationships and allows them to feel a sense of belonging to a community that is built on sisterhood and connection.
They match their Mentees with a Mentor that can provide support, guidance, and opportunities to help navigate social and economic barriers and help meet their goals. Their Mentors encourage Mentees through positive role-modeling and a consistent, one-on-one relationship. Learning from a positive female role-model ensures that Mentees will be able to face challenges with confidence and will be empowered to think of a future without limits.
In addition, their Women Emerging program is available to young women ages 18-24 and focuses on personal and professional development through workshops, life coaching sessions, and any additional support necessary to help them succeed! We are honored to partner with such an incredible organization for our run of Legally Blonde!
